UPDATE ON MUM

EVENING OF 20 MAY 2007. HI! TED BACK AGAIN. (OH NO!!!!!!)
MUM CONTINUES TO PROSPER. HER EYESIGHT IS IMPROVED - SHE HAS STARTED WEARING HER SPECTACLES. THEY HAVE BEEN LYING IN A CASE IN A DRAWER QUITE OVERLOOKED, AND WHEN SHE WAS PERSUADED TO TRY THEM ON TO SEE IF THEY HELPED HER SEE THEY DID. SHE STILL HAS AGE RELATED MACULAR DEGENERATION BUT IS VERY PLEASED WITH THE IMPROVEMENT.
THANK YOU PETER AND BARBARA FOR THOSE DELICIOUS MORRISONS CREAM AND JAM SCONES WHICH YOU BROUGHT YESTERDAY. THEY WERE DELICIOUS. MUM REALLY ENJOYED HERS AND TOPPED IT OFF WITH A YOGHURT. SHE ALSO HAD A TOUR OF THE GARDEN TO SEE THE FLOWERS WITH HER SPECTACLES ON AND SAT ON THE LAWN IN HER CHAIR IN THE WARM SUNSHINE FOR A WHILE. SHE FINISHED A VERY ENJOYABLE DAY WITH A TELEPHONE CALL TO RICHARD AND LYNDA TO WISH LYNDA A VERY HAPPY 60TH (NO, WE DON’T BELIEVE IT!) BIRTHDAY. SHE HAS HAD A REALLY NICE DAY.

At last here is Bekkie and Egg

So hello everyone, I know that you have been waiting a long time for this but here is a lovely piccie of gorgeous Bekkie and her faithful friend Egg. This was taken at a Pony Club event at Wold Newton on Monday 7th May ( just before Egg decided he wanted to eat grass and not jump over some coloured bits of plastic called jumps!! Sorry Bekkie I shouldn’t have told everyone that should I?) They did go on to win a rosette or two though. Doesn’t Egg look beautiful with his new sheepskin nose band? and how about that proud mum aint she great!

Happy Birthday Shanice (for yesterday)

Hi Shanice,
We would just like to wish you a very belated Happy 15th Birthday for yesterday. (I tried to get on here last night but had a few technical problems!!)
I hope our card arrived safely. It was posted from Birmingham as i was attending a seminar in Edgebaston.
It was great to see you and your mum and dad last month and hope we see you again soon.
