Thank you mum

Thank you , mum, for the lovely birthday messages and cards which you arranged for me to receive from family members.  I tell people that “I do not do birthdays” these days.  Well, when you have had seventy-four of them they get a bit “old hat”, but I was very touched by the love and kind thoughts expressed which made this birthday a happy and memorable one.  Once again, my thanks to everyone.
