Pray for Janette’s healing
29/11/2008 by Ted.
Hi Andrew and Janette.
Sorry to hear that Janette is still not well - but she will be - guaranteed!.
Our whole faith in Jesus rests on the promises He gave to us.
Many, many of the Lord’s promises assure us that whatever we ask, if we ask according to His will, we have it.
Jesus demonstrated many times that healing sickness is according to His will by curing any who came to Him and asked Him to heal them - or someone they brought to His attention.
We therefore know that healing Janette is something which He, if He was still walking the earth in human form and we took Janette to Him, would certainly do. He never turned anyone away.
There is abundant evidence that Jesus still exercises the same healing ministry today for all who ask Him. The only condition is that when we ask Him we have to believe that He will honour his promise.
Janette knows He will, you know that He will and so do I.
One of His promises is, If any two of you (people who trust Him to honour His promise) agree on earth touching anything (according to His will) you shall have it.
We have more than two agreed already, so we have, even now, more resources of faith than we need to get the job done. However, there can never be too much faith at work.
It is therefore just a question of time before you are able to post your blog to say that He has answered our combined prayers and Janette is now perfectly well. Because it will happen.
I invite other family members who have confidence in Jesus’ promises to join us in our agreement and add their request to the Lord for Janette’s healing until it comes. A quick blog to say, “We are with you, Andrew and Janette”, would be nice.
After you have asked (prayed) create in your mind a picture of Janette already in perfect health just as you have asked. That is the expression to Jesus of your confidence in His promise. That promise is gold-lined - your picture of Janette will happen. So thank Him in anticipation. Then keep on asking and picturing and thanking until we see Andrew’s blog to say she is in perfect health again.
And to everyone else I say, join with us if you are able, but certainly ”watch this space” until the answer has come - and be a witness that Jesus does answer prayer and honour His promises today.
My love to everyone,
Ted.

Half term holiday
29/11/2008 by Lord Fly of Bogland.
Greetings from Lord Fly,
I have not posted anything on the blog this week because, together with the elected polititions of this realm and my fellow peers in the House of Lords, I have been on half term holiday.
It was a nice suprise to find that we had a half term holiday.
I am told that it is to enable us all to do our Christmas shopping so that we don’t have to interrupt our soon to start, much longer Christmas holiday doing it.
Hope to be back soon,
Lord Fly of Bogland.

Ruffled feathers
29/11/2008 by Andrew.
Hello everyone
Cuisse de grenouille - what a cracker. ROFL
I appear to have ruffled a few feathers with my comments about winter holiday.
Let me say that this is how “I” feel about Xmas (I did not suggest that anyone else should do likewise) which is why I did not present any reasons why I feel this way.
I remember mum getting indignant when she encountered the word ‘Xmas’ remarking that they should “put Christ back into Christmas”.
The truth is that He was never in christmas.
Everything about christmas is of pagan origin, and was an attempt by the early Roman church to convert the people to christianity telling them that they could keep thier heathen festivals intact, but give them a christian flavour. I am not going to go into great detail, as the web is certainly awash with info on this subject for anybody who wants TRUTH not tradition. Nobody knows when Jesus was born as God chose not to reveal this in the scriptures (for a good reason). December 25th was the roman festival of “Saturnalia” and involved human sacrifice and other depraved practices which God hates. Traditionally in earlier centuries it was a time when “the church” ridiculed and persecuted Jewish communities even to murdering them.
When the reformers supposedly reformed the church, christmas, easter, the priesthood and laity and a dozen other things should have been discarded with the other stuff as it is just a heap of deception. This mixture is a stench in God’s nostrils and remains to pollute the true body of Christ.
Even our modern version of Christmas is at odds with God’s will for us involving drunkeness, excess and materialism and as such in my opinion dishonours the name of our Saviour. This is why I have discontinued the use of the word in favour of winter holiday.
Don’t misunderstand me, we still have a nice family time with the usual things and our Lord Jesus is still the centre of attention (as He is everyday) bless His precious Name. Rather than give gifts to each other I am trying to encourage our family to help the poor and needy like aids orphans in africa etc. as this is God’s will for us. Blessed is he who considers the poor.
Consider this:- We are never exhorted to remember Jesus birth, only His death and future return in the breaking of bread. Why?
Anyway I hope everyone is in good health and happy. Janette is still afflicted with her dizziness and the doctors etc have pretty much given up saying she will have to learn to live with it. We however have not given up hope and every day we anoint her with oil and pray for her healing according to the scriptures. I am sure that when God’s purpose is fulfilled that He will set her free in His tender mercy.
All our love
Andee & family XXXXXXX
PS for Smokie
Hi big bruv. It was not my intention to make anyone feel guilty about not posting. As I stated, I am the worst culprit. I just wanted to encourage us all to keep in touch a bit more and to value what we have available.
